The President’s Volunteer Service Award
In 2003, the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation founded the President’s Volunteer Service Award to recognize the important role of volunteers in America’s strength and national identity. This award honors individuals whose service positively impacts communities in every corner of the nation and inspires those around them to take action, too. Led by the Corporation for National and Community Service and managed in partnership with Points of Light, this program allows Certifying Organizations to recognize their most exceptional volunteers.
Citizens of Tomorrow (COT) is a registered PVSA certifying organization. Please note that not all of your community service hours may be qualified. We strongly recommend that you review the PVSA volunteer eligibility at the PVSA website carefully. The current PVSA reporting cycle is from previous year August 1st to current year July 31st. If you have participated in our organized events in the past 12 months at least 40 hours and are interested in applying for the President Volunteer Service Award through COT, please follow the instructions sent by HR in August and submit your application.
